Donna Burns
Donna crafts sculptural silver jewellery from her home studio in Cornwall and takes inspiration from many sources, including architecture, fashion and nature.
“I appreciate flowing lines, sweeping arches and repeating patterns that create movement through repetition.”
Influenced by framed views, doors, arches and windows, Donna explores layers and materials that simultaneously reveal and conceal such as lace and netting. A recent graduate of Plymouth College of Art, she is now launching her debut collection. Silver jewellery that is unusual but still elegant; each piece plays with light and shadow on the skin and is designed to complement the wearer.
