Cat Hart's handmade jewellery is the outcome of a personal journey: it is the conclusion of hours and hours of errors and experimentation, times of frustration and pure joy.

Road trips from the Gauteng Province to the Western Cape provide dramatically contrasting landscapes and has inspired her curiosity in the architecture of nature. Cat draws inspiration from the cracks and asymmetrical angles in these landscapes and designs sculptural jewellery that reflects the scenes from the surface of where her materials were mined. Cat carefully selects the stones for these pieces into unique one-of-a-kind freeform shapes that continue the reflections of these enscarpments.
