Alex O Connor

Alex O’Connor is a silversmith and jeweller based in west Cornwall, creating work that invites moments of stillness, reflection, and connection. Rooted in a desire to distil the essence of the landscape into quiet, meaningful forms, her practice centres on the relationship between object, space, and presence.

Drawing on her background in sculpture, Alex works intuitively between walking the Cornish coastline and making in the studio. Through sketching, model-making, and a process of careful refinement, she brings each piece to its essential form—balancing sculptural sensitivity with functional intent.
