Getting Back To A New Normal
In March 2020 we unfortunately had to close our doors due to the outbreak of Covid-19. This terrible virus has impacted so many and has changed the way we conduct our daily lives.
Throughout closure Victoria was able to continue to process customer orders, thanks to the ongoing work of key workers within the postal service.
Victoria worked extremely hard, putting into place, plans and preparations for when the gallery was able to re-open.
The Gallery re opened on Wednesday 17th June 2020 with the changes successfully implemented ensuring a safe shopping environment for both customers and staff.
Our opening hours are for the time being reduced. We will be open Tuesday to Sunday with reduced hours on these days. You will now notice hand sanitiser and face masks by the door that we kindly request you use. Or alternatively, you may feel more comfortable using your own. There is also a large perspex screen at the counter to offer you further protection.
We apologise, but commission enquiries will now be by appointment only. If you are interested, then please email or telephone the gallery. One of the team will be more than happy to arrange a suitable time that you can visit the shop whilst closed to the public, to discuss your requirements.
Prior to lockdown, we were in the middle of our wonderful ‘Ringing The Changes Exhibition’. This fantastic ring showcase is now in its seventh year, with such an exciting lineup of designers taking part each year. We are pleased that this exhibition is able to continue in the gallery, online and on social media. We are also excited that the Summer Showcase will also be taking place, more news on this soon.
AND FINALLY ….
As previously mentioned, Covid-19 has changed all our lives for the foreseeable future. The changes to your shopping experience and our business will take a bit of getting used to. However, Victoria and her team, including Martha the gallery dog, are excited at being back and looking forward to seeing you soon. We thank you all for your continued support.
