This is a perfect introductory to Jewellery making and design for anyone with a creative spark and wanting to learn the basics in a day. And if you like it then you could continue onto one of our 10wk courses.
Students will learn how to saw pierce, solder, form, texture and finish a piece. Stone setting is optional and colour can be added with enamel. You are welcome to bring a pebble, sea glass or unusual found treasure to set onto one of your rings!
With all of the beautiful designs from established jewellers on display in the gallery below, you will be constantly given examples of what you have learnt or are being taught putting learning into context. We shall constantly re-cap at every stage.
Over the one day you can expect to come away with a 2-3 part stacking ring.
Health and safety is covered and each student shall be emailed a week or so before the course start date to give a reminder and further details about the course.
See examples of stacking rings students made on the ‘taster day’ here on our facebook page
Perfect for a special BIRTHDAY, HEN day or CHRISTMAS gift!
On arrival we have coffee and pastry from the fabulous bakers next door, Jaka’s, and there are plenty of tasty eateries for lunch near the gallery.
We don’t take bookings through the website as we prefer to discuss your needs with you, and then we can match you to the most suitable course. We can take your deposit to secure your place at the same time.
Please feel free to call Victoria to discuss the course on 01752 220011
