Beautiful textured gold.

This gorgeous ring is made by @sianevansjewellery from recycled 18ct yellow gold, cast directly from a Roman-era ring. It has a beautiful rich colour and a striking timeless design.

Sian uses an ancient technique to make these rings resulting in variations in texture which makes each ring unique.

This unique ring is part of our 'Ringing the Changes' exhibition which is still running throughout June. Pop in if you are in the Plymouth area.

We had a great day yesterday @craftfestival Bovey Tracey catching up with some of our existing designer makers that we feature in the gallery and discovering new fantastic jewellers.

@amy_whittingham_glass is one such designer maker who’s jewellery we have @victoria_sewart_gallery .

Inspired by liminal space and textured surfaces Amy’s glass jewellery is simply stunning.

You can find her at stand D1. If you can’t make the craft festival, why not pop into the gallery to take a look.

Was great to see @valmuddymanjewellery @craftfestival Bovey Tracey yesterday.

Val’s delicate and beautiful jewellery is inspired by and sometimes made from seaweed and sea glass that she collects from beaches around Plymouth. Her designs looked fantastic and if your paying a visit why not pop and say hello. Val can be found at stand C54.

If you can’t make the craft festival then why not pop into the gallery to see some of Val’s designs.

The colours of summer

This gorgeous one of a kind Leaf Brooch has such summery cheerful colours.

Made entirely by hand by @lindseymannjewellery using silver and screen-printed aluminium. The silver is oxidised creating a contrast with the white, yellow and blue of the aluminium.

It really feels like summer is here at the moment, we have blue skies and sunshine down on the Barbican. Pop into the gallery and say hello if you're in Plymouth.

The magenta cord has a slip knot which allows the necklace to be adjusted to the desired length.
