More rings are arriving for our Ringing the Changes exhibition - it's very exciting.

We have an unusual and quietly beautiful collection from @sianevansjewellery.

Sian's interest in ancient jewellery technologies and archeology is evident. She creates simultaneously ancient and modern pieces, such as The Khufu ring shown here.

It is made from recycled silver using ancient jewellery making and casting techniques and forms part of her Meta collection.

Then you're in luck! We have places available on a new afternoon course. It's a 10 week Beginner's jewellery making course, running on Thursday afternoons in our lovely little jewellery workshop down on the Barbican.

Over the 10 weeks you'll learn the basics of jewellery making: saw piercing, filing, sanding, polishing, adding texture, soldering, stone setting and enamelling.
