Ania’s simple and evocative jewellery is inspired by her observations of the natural world, from the largest expanses down to the smallest particle. Her work is minimal and conceptual, given depth by subtle detail only noticed on closer inspection. Ania’s pieces interpret the effortless beauty of nature’s structures, forms and curves, rendering them into tangible, wearable objects.
Ania is drawn to the meditative process of jewellery making each piece a process of discovery. Each piece is one of a kind and has the unique, imperfect and tactile quality of a hand made object.
Ania currently lives and works on the north cost of Devon as an artist and contemporary jeweller. She works in a variety of mediums moving between photography, sculpture, painting and jewellery design, all of which inspire and influence her collections.
She studied at the London College of Communication, University of the Arts London.
