Rebecca Furze

After an evening course, Rebecca went on to a working jewellery position and she enrolled onto an advanced course to hone her skills.

Rebecca’s passion for jewellery started from a very young age, growing up in London where her mother owned an antique and collectibles shop. Watching customers trying on the precious jewellery fascinated Rebecca, and she aims to bring the element of relationship with a piece into her own work.

Rebecca travels with her Fathers job in the airline industry to different countries as a child, influences her designs, from different cultures and exploring some of the worlds most ancient ruins. . She then translates this into her work. Rebecca now enjoys creating contemporary wearable pieces with a nod to history, using a variety of traditional silversmiths techniques to create her work. All Rebecca’s work is handmade and designed in her studio on Dartmoor, Devon.

We have more work by this designer, including one-off pieces, available exclusively through our quaint Barbican Gallery in Plymouth.
