The boundaries of hedgerows and grass verge that are often seen as inconsequential to us, draws Charlotte into their chaotic wildness. We view these edges fleetingly, from the periphery of what we are otherwise engaged with, but there is a beauty in this unnoticed landscape.

‘Weeds are not supposed to grow’

Trained at Camberwell and Goldsmiths, after some years working in London, Charlotte returned to Devon to continue her practice as a fine artist and printmaker. Drawing is a vital component of all her work, where it all begins and sometimes as far as it goes.
